A borewell is a deep and narrow hole digged beneath the ground in order to extract water with a pipe and a pump primarily for construction purposes. The hole is rigged either by machinery or manually depending on the surface of the earth below and the depth to reach the water bearing layer called the aquifer.
The depth of the bore well varies from region to region ranging from 25 feet to 1500 feet. Water is essential for the construction of a building and hence bore wells are required to be digged atleast during the process of construction
