Gravel filling of low lying property, basement filling, backfilling, and plinth leveling. The above are some of the areas where gravel filling is predominantly done from a minor to the major construction site.
When
- When the property is below natural ground level or the road level then there is a need to fill the property with available good earth, gravel, red earth.
- This filling of the property is done months in advance before any major construction is taken place
- By doing this the filled earth compacts and settles down and becomes the new layer of available earth in your property.
- Cost of the foundation is saved as earlier the natural ground level was lower and now it’s higher
- The overall height of the foundation is lesser than in the first case leading to major savings in the foundation.
What we do
- On-site inspection we calculate the number of loads of gravel required for your property
- We check the quality and quantity of gravel load reaching the site by constantly checking the suppliers load both at the loading and unloading end of your property
- Suitable layers of load are unloaded in equal intervals across the property and leveled in order to uniform settlement
- Estimation of the number of loads and the commercial proposal is provided to the client
- On agreement, we sign up with the final cost, and a time plan is shared with the client for completion of the project.
- We complete the filling job in a couple of days and provide and clean, neat, and leveled property to the client.
Exclusions
- If the property’s compound wall entry restricts access of lorry or JCB into the property then that cost of adjustment of the entrance gate is additional
- Earth rammer or road roller cost is not included in this proposal. If ramming is required then it will be of additional scope
General Instructions
- Time plan will be provided to the client
- General working hours will be from 9 Am to 6 PM between Mondays to Saturdays
- Qualified Engineers will handle the ground-level staff as well as the client.
- Senior project engineer will check the site progress, material quality, and workmanship of the project.
- For all customer related queries, the client can contact the junior Engineer or Senior project engineer.
- Any scope which is not mentioned in the above services list is considered additional scope and mutually agreed by the client
